Hotel La Palma Romántica
A hotel of Canarian wooden galleries in the laurel forest of northern La Palma, with a spa and even an astronomical observatory
- Barlovento, La Palma
- Mountain hotel with spa

It was built in 1985 in keeping with the traditional architecture of La Palma: a belt of Canarian-style wooden galleries, and a balcony or terrace in every room, looking out to the Atlantic or the mountains. It sits one kilometre from Barlovento, in the north of the island, surrounded by laurel forest.
It is a mountain hotel with a homely feel, for couples, hikers and nature lovers, fifteen minutes from the Los Tilos reserve and close to the natural pools of La Fajana. Under one of the clearest skies in the world, it has its own astronomical observatory.
What makes it special

- Its own astronomical observatory
- Spa with heated pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub
- Three bungalow suites with private hot tub and fireplace
- A restaurant serving Canarian and international food, and a lounge bar with a fireplace
How they work with Roomdoo
Roomdoo was set up for what makes a hotel in the Canary Islands different: invoicing with IGIC, the Canary Islands tax, instead of VAT, and its own terms at the foot of each invoice.
It also fits the way they sell: direct and non-refundable rates, half board with dinner included, and extras such as late check-out, a cot or the tennis court, added to the stay and shown on the invoice without any manual sums.
