What is SES.HOSPEDAJES?
In Spain, all tourist accommodations will be obliged to register their guests through SES.HOSPEDAJES, the new unified platform that replaces previous systems such as Hospederías of the Guardia Civil and WebPol/E-HOTEL of the National Police. This is mandatory according to Royal Decree 933/2021.
Effective October 1, 2024, all tourism establishments must use the SES.HOSPEDAJES platform to register and report guest data.
This measure seeks to unify and simplify the process of complying with legal obligations. It also aims to better monitor travelers' movements and obtain more information about their bookings.
There have been complaints from the industry requesting to avoid or delay this change, but so far no additional official communication has been issued, beyond the confirmation that the regulation will come into force on the scheduled date.

Most important changes
1. New required data: SES.HOSPEDAJES requests some additional data, which will be managed in a simple way through Roomdoo's check-in assistant, keeping the same operation. In addition to the registration of travelers, it will now be mandatory to inform about upcoming bookings.
We will only send the mandatory data: Roomdoo will only send the required and mandatory data by regulation. Information such as the means of payment or the date of payment among others, which are optional, will not be reported, limiting to report the strictly mandatory data in order to preserve confidentiality.
3. Registration of all travelers, including minors:
- All travelers, regardless of age, must be registered.
- Adults must complete all their data and sign (physically or digitally).
- Young people between 14 and 18 years of age must register their data and indicate their relationship to the responsible adult.
- Children under 14 years of age will not need to enter their ID, but they will need to include the relationship and the rest of the data.
What do you need to do?
You must register your accommodation in SES.HOSPEDAJES to activate Roomdoo integration and automation.

You must click on the procedure "Access to the registry of establishments and entities" to start your registration on the platform, for which it will be necessary to have a digital certificate of the entity that owns the accommodation or to be registered in cl@ve.

The most important thing. During the process, be sure to check the "Send communications via web service" option to enable the automatic communication that Roomdoo will use.
Once completed, you will receive an email from the Ministry with your registration number, lessor code and establishment code and the user and password for the web communications service. Please send this information to soporte@roomdoo.com so that we can configure the system correctly.
