Back in December, we gave you a sneak peek at an important change: throughout 2026, we’ll be gradually refactoring the entire Roomdoo app to build a better one—one that’s more reliable, more stable, and easier to update.
We will gradually review and improve the entire app using a revamped architecture. We’ll optimize what’s already in place and get Roomdoo ready for everything that’s to come.
Given the growth we are experiencing, this step is strategic for our future progress. We want to strengthen the architecture so that the system becomes more robust and easier to scale, reducing unexpected behavior and putting an end to the familiar “something went wrong.” We aim to build a solid foundation that allows us to continue adding new features without compromising reliability.
In short: we’ll continue to refine Roomdoo as a management system so that it’s useful to you in your day-to-day work.
The first areas to adopt this new architecture are:
- The new login system
- The side menu
- Contact Management
Although it may seem like just a visual change, this is the first feature to be implemented on this new platform, and it sets the stage for what’s to come in 2026. Here are the new features in detail, which focus primarily on improving contact management and cross-functional components:
Better-organized contact lists, with more details and filters
The list is now organized into clear tabs that let you quickly identify the type of contact you're working with: All, clients, guests, agencies, or suppliers.
It makes it much easier to find the right information quickly. The list includes:
- More powerful search options (name, email, phone number, ID number, etc.)
- Quick and specific filters based on contact type
- Option to filter each column
- A cleaner, more organized display of the information in the tables
More comprehensive contact form
This new form is designed to ensure that contact information is better organized, thereby preventing future issues with billing, check-ins, or communications.

This way, you'll be able to clearly:
- Make it clear whether you are setting up as an individual, a business, or an agency
- Manage multiple forms of identification for the same contact
- Properly distinguish between your residential address and your tax address
- Keep your billing information organized
- Reduce common errors that led to duplicates or incomplete information
User-friendly and responsive main menu
The menu also has a new look, with a cleaner, more readable design. In addition, if you belong to a multi-property instance, you can select the property you want to work on from the drop-down menu at the top. Now, you'll find:
- Improved navigation
- User Settings
- Clearer reporting
- Custom direct links
We've also made improvements to the reporting feature, making it easier to use and more visually intuitive.

Login, custom home screen
The login screen now features a clearer, more personalized interface, consistent with the new visual elements that will appear throughout the rest of the app.
But this change isn't just cosmetic. Behind the scenes, there are significant improvements in user authentication and security, all built on the new architecture we're using to rebuild Roomdoo.
In addition, this new interface paves the way for multilingual support: it includes a language selector that will allow the various screens, as they are gradually updated, to be available directly in the languages configured for each instance.
